David Gittin joins Net Easy
David Gittin joins Net Easy, Inc.
David Gittin comes to Net Easy after several years as one of the three original principals of GXTechnologies which focus primarily on Windows solutions. David was formally trained as a Microsoft Engineer and holds numerous certifications from Microsoft such as the MCSE.
After years of working together on various solutions, David's interest in web development and open source software like Linux lead to his desire to become part of Net Easy. He has embarked on new skills like the Microsoft Active Directory integration of the Samba server which operates on several platforms and is under the GNU license. "It is clear that standards compliant technology is a better selection for businesses" states Mr. Gittin. Following the ruling of anti-trust activities, it would be wise to ensure a clean understanding of both technologies and use in small business. "Net Easy offers consulting services based around client needs and budgets, not just offering specified products because you know them" says Mr. Gittin. "I would like first hand experience in hands on technical issues with such solutions but also business analysis in use for such solutions." Net Easy frequently uses open source software to produce highly cost effective solutions for small- to medium-sized business. For example: the use of Asterisk and TrixBox for Voice Over IP (VoIP) solutions typically cost less to implement than proprietary telephone systems. Numerous examples exist like: Samba, Asterisk, Apache, Linux, Tomcat, Zope, MySQL to name only a few.
